Hand-selected by Catoctin Creek Distillery’s master distillery Beck Harris, Roundstone Rye Distillers Edition 92 proof organic whisky is made from whisky held back and aged just a bit further than Catoctin Creek’s traditional rye recipe. Made from a 100% rye mash through a non-chill filtered process wholly at the Catoctin Creek Distillery in Virginia, just as every other offering from Catoctin, Distillers Edition 92 proof organic rye is finished in new charred oak barrels with no age statement and an ABV rating of 46%. On the nose, young oak and pine blend with delicate herbs, minerals, and touches of candied anise. The palate shifts with notes of cocoa coated nuts, aged leather, and pops of citrus melted into vanilla.
